The Turystów Łódź club was a German and, after the First World War, a Polish sports club from Łódź .
history
The club was founded in 1895 by the German minority in the city of Łódź, which was then part of the Russian Empire , as the Touring Club Łódź . From 1911 to 1918 the German club played for the Łódź championship. In 1921 the club was reactivated under the Polish name Klub Turystów Łódź . Until 1926 the club played in the Łódź A class. After winning the A class in the 1926 season, Club Turystów Łódź played for the Polish championship, but failed in the group stage. In 1927 the club was one of the founding members of the Polish Ekstraklasa , from which they were relegated in 1929. In 1932 they merged with another former association of the German minority, Union Łódź to Union-Touring Łódź .
