Union des forces pour la democratie et le développement

The Union of Forces for Democracy is the largest rebel group in Chad .

It was founded in October 2006 under the leadership of Mahamat Nouri . The rebels are fighting against President Idriss Déby .

The group consists of the

• Democratic Revolutionary Council
• Union of Forces for Progress and Democracy
