Uniroyal giant tires

The Uniroyal giant tire is a ferris wheel . It is 24.384 m high and looks like an oversized tire from the former manufacturer Uniroyal . It was built for the 1965 World's Fair in New York City , where it was visited by two million people.

In 1965 it was brought to Allan Park, a borough of Detroit , and located at 42 ° 16 ′ 14 "  N , 83 ° 12 ′ 32.7"  W. The giant tire received a new design in 1994 and was nailed in 1998 to demonstrate the durability of the new generation of tires. A renovation took place in 2003.
