United Evangelical Lutheran Church in India

United Evangelical Lutheran Church in India (UELCI, German  United Evangelical Lutheran Church in India ) is a large Lutheran church in India .

It has millions of members. Many of its members are Dalit or Adivasi . She is a member of the World Council of Churches , the Christian Conference of Asia , the National Council of Churches in India and the Lutheran World Federation . After the 2004 tsunami , the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in India worked with the World Service (AWD) Indian country program of the Lutheran World Federation on immediate emergency relief.
