United Poultry Concerns (UPC) is an American animal welfare organization committed to the welfare of domestic poultry such as chickens, ducks and turkeys for food production as well as for scientific reasons, for entertainment purposes and as ornamental poultry. The organization was founded by animal rights activist and author Karen Davis .

One of the self-proclaimed goals of United Poultry Concerns is to raise awareness of how poultry is " treated by society ". According to the UPC, the way poultry is kept affects people's health, ethics, occupational safety and the environment. The aim of the UPC is to educate the public about this and to actively show alternatives. UPC's public relations work includes series of publications, the organization of conferences and the provision of information material. The organization's slogan is “ Birds are friends, not food ” and “ Turkeys are too neat to eat ” (turkeys are too nice to eat ).
