The United States Army Intelligence Center ( USAIC ) is a US Army facility for the training and support of soldiers with intelligence duties.

General

The center was founded in 1971 and is located in Fort Huachuca in the US state of Arizona , which is located in a desert area in the adjacent Southeast Arizona Ranges . Soldiers are assigned to the training courses or taken as students to the affiliated University Of Military Intelligence .

In 2004 Major General Barbara G. Fast was appointed Commanding General of USAIC. The 304th Military Intelligence Battalion is part of the USAIC . In this unit, which consists of 3 companies , specialists are trained in the field of tactical and operational use in the field of intelligence.

USAIC's facilities also include an extensive library that covers the scope of education and training, but also provides an adequate overview of the development and history of this facility.

As part of the University of Military Intelligence , the Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin (MIPB) is published, which publishes studies on the tasks and operations of the USAIC, which are also freely accessible.

There are 13-day training courses for personnel who are intended for immediate deployment. Each training class has up to 18 participants. For the Iraq war , soldiers were trained for interrogation as part of the USAIC. The number of graduates rose from 265 in 2003 to 1070 in 2006.
