The Universidad de los Llanos ( Unillanos abbreviation , German University of Levels ) in Villavicencio is a co-educational university in the Department of Meta in Colombia . It was originally founded on November 11, 1974 as Universidad Tecnológica de los Llanos Orientales .
The University of the Llanos is the university for the area of Orinocia and sees itself as a place that brings the inhabitants of the landscape together with professionals and scientists with sensitivity and appreciation for the historical, social, cultural and ecological heritage of mankind. The main interest is to help solve the ecological problems of Orinocia and the country.
There are a total of five faculties:
