The University of Botswana Stadium , or UB Stadium for short , is a multifunctional stadium in Gaborone , Botswana , on the site of the University of Botswana and was built in 1982. It is used, among other things, for soccer games; Occasionally, Botswana Premier League games are played there . Athletics competitions are also held there . The stadium can seat 10,000 spectators. There are also 1,500 standing or 800 seats available for cultural activities. The UB's annual graduation ceremony takes place in the stadium.
Along with the Molepolole Sports Complex in Molepolole, it was one of two venues for the 2010 COSAFA U-20 Cup .
