Molepolole is a city in Botswana . At the last census in 2001, its population was 54,561, according to a calculation for 2008 it is around 70,000. It is the seat of government of the Kweneng district and Botswana's third largest city after Gaborone and Francistown .

The city is the center of the Bakwena tribe of the Batswana .
