The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (short CU-Colorado Springs or UCCS ) is a state university in Colorado Springs in the US state of Colorado . With approximately 13,237 students (2012) it is the fourth largest university in Colorado. Founded in 1965, the university offers 36 Bachelor of Arts, 19 Magister, and 5 PhD programs.
