Unterführer (disaster control)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The NCOs in units of civil protection are the platoon leader assumed and run orderspecific as squad leader either party , as squadron leader a squadron or group leader a group.

Before the appointment as subordinate, a course must be attended that instructs the prospective managers in the organization of disaster and civil protection and teaches the basics of leading people. Attending a course is not to be equated with an appointment, as this has to be done separately and requires a successfully completed course. The course consists of three weekends and the successful participation in a disaster control exercise.

With the option of deploying the subordinate as a squad leader, squadron or group leader , the platoon leader in charge has variable planning options in the event of a subordinate being absent.
