Company Fallreep

The code name company Fallreep is used to describe a breakout operation by the German Wehrmacht during the war against the Soviet Union in 1942, which was carried out to open the Demyansk pocket . Company Fallreep refers to all military operations carried out from the east to open the boiler (out of the boiler). The company was carried out in the course of the Demyansk Kesselschlacht on April 14, 1942 southwest of Demyansk by the storm regiment of the II Army Corps under Lieutenant Colonel Hermann von Borries . At the town of Ramuschewo on the Lowat River, the breakout troops met the relief troops attacking from the west ( Bridge building company ).
