Company Willi was the code name of a planned German secret operation to kidnapping of Edward of Windsor in July 1940. The aim was to him as a collaboration with the German dictator Adolf Hitler to force. In return, he was to become King of Great Britain again as part of a future peace settlement with Great Britain . The background of this company became known in the context of the Windsor file .
