The Untersee is a lake near Blankensee in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The approximately 2.3 hectare large body of water is located in the municipality of Blankensee, 300 meters south of the town center. The lake has no natural runoff, but water is fed to it through a southern system of ditches. The maximum extent of the lower lake is about 240 by 130 meters.
