The upjers GmbH (formerly UpSim GmbH & Co. KG ) is a summer 2006 in Memmelsdorf in Bamberg based online game undertakings incinerating or it was renamed in August 2014 upjers GmbH. Today the company is based in Bamberg with more than 100 employees. So far, the company has released 30 games (some have been discontinued). The company counted 100 million players in 23 countries worldwide.
history
The company was founded in summer 2006 by Klaus Schmitt. Before the establishment of the company Schmitt as the " nose prince FunworX the browser games" in his spare time Kapitalism , RumbleRace , Xenyoo and later Kapiland developed along with his wife Marika Schmitt.
In January 2009 the company moved from Memmelsdorf to new premises in Bamberg in order to accommodate the constantly increasing need for staff. In January 2010, the office space was doubled again and currently offers around 100 employees a job.
Upjers' games are very different. There are simulations like Root Empire and My Free Farm . But then there are also games in which you can / have to fight like Koyotl and Caribic Islands. For a few years now there have also been sports simulation games such as 11 Legends and Jumpshot Legends, but also apps for Android and iOS.
Upjers is now not only a developer, but also a publisher.
costs
Like other usual browser games, these browser games can also be played without wagering money, but the scope is then clearly limited. It should also be noted that there is always talk of free play, but most of the time you can only buy some game options with money. Children and young people in particular buy Paysafecards at petrol stations or other sales outlets .
