The Ura ( Estonian : Ura jõgi ) is a river in the southwest of Estonia .

The Ura rises in the east of the Nigula raba bog around 3 km north of the border with Latvia . It runs in a generally northerly direction, essentially parallel to the Reiu River , into which it flows in the village of Reiu on national road 4 ( Via Baltica ) at the junction of Estonian national road 6, which leads to Valga . A puncture creates a direct connection to the Riga Bay .

The length of the Ura is 55.4 km, the catchment area 186 km².
