A Urartian helmet is a protective weapon from the Urartian Empire .

A Urartian helmet is usually made of bronze . The helmet bowl is round at the bottom and tapers towards the tip. Various patterns in high relief form can be incorporated on the front . In the lower area there are often three to four grooves on the edge of the helmet. There is usually a fastening ring on the right side of the lower edge of the helmet.
