Kenjirō Urata
Kenjirō Urata ( Japanese 浦 田 健 次郎 , Urata Kenjirō ; * December 15, 1941 in Tokyo Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese composer .
He began studying composition in 1965 and graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music . He then completed his studies at the same university until 1972 and then graduated with a Master of Music .
He is a board member of the Japanese section of the International Society for Contemporary Music and a member of the Federation of Japanese Composers. He is currently Professor of Composition at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music .
