Urbano Rivera (born April 1, 1926 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
Midfielder Rivera came in 1946 at the at the time still in the Tercera Especial playing Danubio FC , he for after the rise from 1948 to 1955 in the Primera División was active. During this time he was a regular regular at the club. In 1954 Rivera finished second in the Uruguayan championship with the Montevideans . In 1955 he also took part in Danubio's first major team tour.
National team
Rivera was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed seven internationals from his debut on March 1, 1953 to his last appearance on June 5, 1954. He did not score an international goal. Rivera was part of the Uruguayan squad at the 1953 South American Championship in Peru . He also took part in the 1954 World Cup with Uruguay . It was not used during the competition.
