Urbetsch

Urbetsch ( Russian урбеч also Urba / урба , orba / орба /; Lezgian кӀепӀ , kep ; Lakish турт , turt ) is a thick viscous mass dark brown to black in color, which is obtained from mashed and roasted linseed, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds or apricot seeds. Urbetsch is used in the cuisine of some peoples of Dagestan , often as the basic substance of the sweet of the same name - in this case enriched with honey and / or cream.
