Burkhard Kick (born August 25, 1968 in Wolfsburg ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Goalkeeper Burkhard Kick came from VfR Eintracht Nord Wolfsburg in 1991 to VfL Wolfsburg in the Oberliga Nord. In his first year he became a league champion with VfL and, after a successful promotion round , he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with the club . There he was mostly goalkeeper in 1992/93. In the following season he was only the third goalkeeper behind Uwe "Zimbo" Zimmermann and Jörg Hoßbach . In 1994 he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig in the Regionalliga Nord , where he was substitute goalkeeper behind Mathias Hain . Kick was used four times in his only season at BTSV - three times as a field player. After one season, Kick moved to SSV Vorsfelde and finally back to his hometown club VfR Eintracht Nord Wolfsburg, where he was also used as a field player. In 2004 he ended his active career, but has since played for the traditional VfL Wolfsburg team, among others. As a coach, Kick worked for many years in the youth division of SSV Vorsfelde before he took over the coaching position for the first team of SSV Vorsfelde (regional league) for the 2019/20 season.
