Uroš Predić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Урош Предић ; * December 7, 1857 in Orlovat , † February 11, 1953 in Belgrade ) was one of the most important Yugoslav painters of realism . Predić is particularly known for his monumental historical painting Kosovka devojka ( The Girl from the Blackbird Field ) , as well as for his many portraits. He often addressed Serbian medieval history .

Although Predic's work was destroyed by World War II, it is known that a.
