Urogenital ridge

As a development of the urinary system ( crista urogenital ) in which is Embryology an elongated elevation on the back-side wall of the coelomic cavity , respectively. It arises on both sides of the median plane through the proliferation of the so-called intermediate mesoderm ( ursegmental stalk ), which bulges into the coelom cavity. The urogenital ridge is the common organ system of different parts of the urinary and genital system . The nephrogenic cord - the structure of the kidneys , more precisely the anterior kidneys - and the genital ridge , from which the gonads and gonads develop, are differentiated from it .
