Ursel Bühring (* 1950 ) is a German non-fiction author. She is the founder of the Ursel Bühring School of Medicinal Plants in Freiburg .

Life

Ursel Bühring is a trained nurse , nature and environmental pedagogue and has been a naturopath since 1982 without her own practice. In 1997 she founded the Ursel Bühring School for Medicinal Plants in Freiburg , the first school for medicinal plants in Germany.

On January 1, 2013, she sold the school, which is now under new management as the Freiburg Medicinal Plant School.

In 2001 she was awarded the "Regio Prize for Health and Nutrition" by the culture-promoting group of the economy for her commitment to medicinal plants.

She has published numerous books on medicinal herbalism as well as a mobile app and continues to work as a lecturer in phytotherapy in Germany and abroad.
