Ursula Kähler

Ursula Kahler (* 21 January 1944 as Ursula Heinrichs in Hoexter ) is a German politician ( SPD ). The trained bookseller from the Plön district was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1987 to 2005 .

Ursula Kähler joined the SPD in 1970, soon became the local association chairman in Martensrade and from 1971 to 1976 she was deputy district chairman in the Plön district, from 1979 to 1987 she was a member of the SPD state executive.

Since the local elections in 1974 she was until 1978 a member of the municipal council and Martensrade to 1987 council deputy , since 1979, county councilor. In 1987 she moved into the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament as a directly elected member ( state constituency Plön-Nord ), where she acted as deputy chairwoman of the SPD state parliamentary group from 1993 to 2000. She was re-elected four times as a direct candidate.
