Urteḫi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Urteḫi (Urtechi, Urteki) was an Iron Age kingdom on Lake Sevan in present-day Armenia . It is only known from Urartian inscriptions.

In the west it bordered the Uduri-Etiuni confederation . The inscription of Sarduri II in Tsovak describes the conquest of Arquqini and the campaign against Urteḫi, which apparently was not conquered.
