Uska Luke

The Uska Luke , Wuska łuka in Lower Sorbian , is a typical river in the Spreewald , south of the village of Lehde .

The approximately 500 m long water arm leads from the Südumfluter in a north-easterly direction through the idyllic landscape of the Spreewald. It is bridged by the cycle and hiking path ( cucumber cycle path ) between Lübbenau and Leipe . The Wolschina then branches off to the east . The Uska hatch then heads north and ends at the main arm of the Spree . The Hechtgraben leads north to the Spreewalddorf Lehde.

The name, derived from Sorbian, means “narrow meadow / floodplain”.
