Utrine ( Serbian Утрине / Utrine , Hungarian Törökfalu ) is a village in Serbia in the autonomous province of Vojvodina , in the Okrug Severni Banat . It belongs to the Opština Ada .

population

In 1991 the village had 1143 inhabitants, of whom were

  • 1106 Hungary (96.8%)
  • 21 Yugoslavs
  • 13 Serbs (1.1%)
  • 1 Roma
  • 1 Croat
  • 1 unknown.

In 2002 the village had 1,038 inhabitants, of whom were

  • 1012 Hungary (97.5%)
  • 9 Serbs (0.9%)
  • 7 Roma
  • 3 Yugoslavs
  • 1 Albanian
  • 6 did not comment.

Agriculture

The majority of the population works in agriculture. Mainly cereals and plants for animal feed are grown. Animals are also bred, mainly cattle and pigs.

The main source of income for people is milk production.

education

The local school is attended by around 100 students. Around twelve new students are enrolled every year. In addition to the school there is also a kindergarten .

Infrastructure

The village has an agricultural cooperative , the Utrine Volunteer Fire Brigade , a doctor's office, shops, an agricultural pharmacy and a gas station.
