The Utva-65 Privrednik ( Serbian - Cyrillic Утва 65 привредник ) is an agricultural aircraft from the Yugoslav manufacturer Utva .

History and construction

The Utva-65 was specially designed as an agricultural aircraft by Branislav Nikolić and Mirko Dabinović. It was a single-seat, single-engine low-wing aircraft. The wings were essentially identical to those of the high-wing Utva 60 , but they were enlarged and strengthened. The aircraft has a conventional tail unit, which was also derived from that of the Utva 60. The fuselage of the Utva 65 had a tubular steel structure, metal-clad front and bottom, as well as a fabric-covered rest. The single-seat pilot's cockpit was set high and behind the wings to ensure the best possible view for the pilot. The filling opening for the chemicals to be sprayed was located in front of the cockpit. The aircraft had a non-retractable tail wheel landing gear .
