Uzair Rehman gained his first international experience at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , where he was eliminated in the first round of the 200-meter run with 21.70 seconds and also competed in the Pakistani 4-by-100-meter relay with 40, 56 s failed to qualify for the final. In the year he was eliminated from the Asian Championships in Doha in the 100-meter run with 10.77 s in the run and reached the semi-finals over 200 meters, in which he was eliminated with 21.48 s. In 2017 and 2018, Rehman became Pakistani champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay and in 2018 in the 100 and 200 meter run.
