Vàm Sát is a nature reserve about 30 km southeast of downtown Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam , also known as the Can Gio Forest Ecosystem .

It is a tidal salt marsh with dense mangrove forests and a myriad of rivers, canals and ponds.

It is one of only two areas in Vietnam that the World Tourism Organization (WTO) has been able to label with the “Sustainable development of ecotourism” label. Since 2000 also one of the seven UNESCO biosphere reserves in the country.

The careful touristic development enables boat excursions in particular. It is possible to spot giant bats and water birds on a regular basis. In addition to a restaurant and guest house, a tourist center offers a 25 m high observation tower, a covered "Dead Sea miniature" swimming pool with the possibility of bathing in brine, demonstration of salt extraction, boat tours through smaller side canals, hiking trails through the mangroves, suspension bridges, mini zoo with crocodiles, monkeys and similar attractions.
