Víctor García (born March 10, 1990 in Madrid ) is a Spanish racing driver .

Career

García began his motorsport career in karting in the late 1990s, where he was active until 2006. In addition he made in 2006 in the Spanish Formula 3 his first experience in Formula racing and remained until 2008 in this championship. After finishing twelfth overall in 2007, he was 15th in the drivers' championship in 2008. He also took part in two races in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 2008 .

In 2009 he switched to the British Formula 3 Championship and finished the season with a podium finish in 14th place overall. He also took part in two races in the Formula 3 Euro Series as a guest driver . In 2010 he switched to KMP Racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 , in which he started as Anton Nebylizki's teammate . At the end of the season he finished 24th in the drivers' championship.

In 2011 García started for the Moore Racing team in the North American Indy Lights . In the second race at Barber Motorsports Park , he won his first Indy Lights race with a start-to-finish victory. Despite good results, he lost his cockpit after the seventh race because he could no longer raise the budget. At the end of the season he finished eleventh overall.
