V842 Centauri
V842 Centauri was a nova that appeared in the constellation Centaur in 1986 and reached a magnitude of 4.6 mag . It was considered a moderately fast nova that faded by three orders of magnitude after 48 days. In 2010 it was stopped down to 16.5 m , but still two orders of magnitude brighter than before the Nova eruption.
