The VB Sports Club is a club from Malé , Maldives , which was founded in 1987 as Club Lagoons. The men's soccer team currently plays in the country's highest league, the Dhivehi League . The club plays its home games in the Galolhu Stadium. The club has won the national championships twice and the national FA Cup five times. Due to numerous changes in ownership, the club name changed several times. The club has been called VB Sports Club since 2006. By winning the FA Cup 2008, the club qualified for participation in the AFC Cup 2009 .
