The VIVA alarm clock was a broadcast by the music channel VIVA , which was broadcast daily until December 31, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. With the revision of VIVA in 2011, the alarm clock only ran from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and thus one hour less. Since June 2017, the original broadcast time has been used again and broadcast until 9:00 a.m.

In the broadcast were music videos broadcast, while the time is right above appears. VIVA Wecker is one of the longest running programs from VIVA. From 1995 to 1999 she was moderated by Shirin Valentine , from 1999 to 2000 by Steffi Krause. Since then, the program has consisted exclusively of music videos without moderation. The last edition of the VIVA alarm clock ran on December 30, 2018 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
