history

In 2010 the HK Dynamo Tver was founded as a farm team of the OHK Dynamo from the Continental Hockey League, which was formed in the same year from the merger of HK Dynamo Moscow and HK MWD Balaschicha , and started playing in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League , which had replaced the Wysschaja Liga . In the summer of 2011, the club moved to Balaschikha and has played its home games in the Balaschikha Arena ever since . From 2012 the club acted as the farm team of HK Dynamo Moscow, which had taken on the original name after two years.

At the end of the 2016/17 season, Dynamo Balaschicha won the Bratina Cup , the championship trophy of the multinational second division. In the early summer of 2017, Dynamo Moscow ran into financial difficulties, so the farm team was withdrawn from gaming. Instead, Dynamo Moscow signed a cooperation agreement with HK Buran Voronezh .

Since 2019 the HK Dynamo Tver is again the farm team of Dynamo Moscow.
