The Balashikha Arena ( Russian Балашиха-Арена ) is a multi-purpose hall in Balashikha , Russia . The ice rink is the venue for the home games of HK Avangard Omsk from the Continental Hockey League in the 2018/19 season .

The Balaschicha Arena, which opened on September 9, 2007, is mainly used for ice hockey games and concerts. The HK MWD Balaschicha from the Continental Hockey League has played his home games in the hall since the opening of the arena. Before moving to Balashikha, the club played in the Vityas Ice Palace in Podolsk . In 2010, HK MWD Balaschicha merged with HK Dynamo Moscow . Since 2011, the HK Dynamo Balaschicha from the Wysschaja Hockey League and the HK MWD from the Molodjoschnaja Hockey League have played their home games in the arena.

In addition to ice hockey games, concerts are also held in the arena. It is also regularly open for public ice skating.
