The Arena 2000 ( Russian Арена 2000 ) is an ice rink in the Russian city of Yaroslavl . Work on the hall began in the spring of 1998 and the arena was opened in 2001. The hall offers space for 9,070 spectators for ice hockey games.
The hall is used by the local ice hockey team of Lokomotive Yaroslavl from the Continental Hockey League (KHL), which plays its home games there.
