The VR-Bank eG Magstadt-Weissach (formerly Volksbank Magstadt ) is a financial institution with headquarters in Magstadt .
history
In 1871 the commercial bank Magstadt was founded. In 1904, a new statute made it a registered cooperative with unlimited liability. In 1940 the company name changed to Volksbank Magstadt by resolution of the general assembly. In 1956 the company moved into its own bank building on Keplerstrasse. As early as 1967 a new bank was built on Alte Stuttgarter Strasse; 1995 a conversion and new building to today's bank building. In 2018 the Raiffeisenbank Weissach registered cooperative was merged with the bank. Since then, the bank has been called VR-Bank eG Magstadt-Weissach .
Volksbank Magstadt Foundation
In 2007 the Volksbank Magstadt Foundation was founded, which promotes charitable, cultural and non-profit purposes, primarily in the municipality of Magstadt.
