VR-Primax is a magazine with commercial comics and editorial contributions from the Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks in Germany. The magazine appears monthly and is distributed free of charge in the Volks- and Raiffeisenbanken.

The magazine

Since July 2007, the advertising comic VR-Primax has been combining the former book series Marc & Penny and Mike, the pocket money expert , as part of the merger of the two children's savings concepts .

An essential element of the magazine is also the comic with its characters, some of which have been known for more than 30 years. The focus of the comic is on the characters Mike, Tina, Marc, Penny and the dog Sam. You live in the fictional town of Neu Primelsberg.

The range of topics is therefore not limited to traditional children's worlds of experience, but potentially encompasses all areas of society. Reports, interviews and surveys about nature, the environment and health, childhood and family, technology, economy and culture are just as much part of the editorial concept as crafting tips, puzzles and low-threshold offers for the youngest readers. In addition, there are offers in which the target group can contribute their own ideas and wishes and help shape the magazine: comic strips, short stories, painting and writing competitions.

Draftsman, editor and editor

The comic stories and the world of characters are developed and drawn by the Büsch-Beinhorn comic workshop . The editing is in the hands of the agency "redkon GmbH". The publishers are the Deutsche Genossenschafts-Verlag eG and the "geno kom advertising agency GmbH". The Federal Association of German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks is co-publisher .
