VTC CRM is a commercial open source - software for customer relationship management (CRM). VTC CRM is based on the PHP scripting language . As a database system is MySQL available. Support for other database systems are planned (as of June 2013).

VTC CRM is an extensive, process-oriented CRM suite that customers can adapt to their requirements. The software can automate standard work processes in customer service , marketing and sales.

The first version of VTC CRM was a spin-off (Fork) from vtiger CRM released in of 2008. The software has been continuously developed since 2008. The greatest step in further development was achieved in September 2012 with major release 5, in which the user interface and most of the application were completely redesigned.

Extensions

There is an extension for the open source content management system TYPO3 , which is available free of charge in the download repository. There are also various plug-ins that can be used to connect the software to Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Server , among others . VTC CRM also enables the integration of the most important social networks, including Facebook , Google+ , Twitter , LinkedIn and XING . With the native apps for Apple iOS and Android , users can access the central VTC CRM system. VTC CRM itself offers u. a. a programming interface via SOAP and REST .

Product variants

VTC CRM is available in five variants: Standard Cloud, Private Cloud, Dedicated Cloud and OnPremise. Depending on the variants, there are also different variants in use . There are three cloud computing variants, standard, private and dedicated, as well as an on-premise version (on-site) in which the customer is responsible for the hardware and operation.
