Kamil Kosowski began his career in the youth department of the JKH GKS Jastrzębie from his hometown Jastrzębie-Zdrój . In 2004 he was accepted into the youth academy of the Polish ice hockey association Szkoła Mistrzostwa Sportowego , for which he played in the second-class I league until 2006. He then moved back to JKH GKS Jastrzębie, who was also playing in the I league at the time. With his home club, the goalkeeper rose to the Ekstraliga , in which he was on the ice until 2013. With his team he won the Polish ice hockey cup in 2013 by beating KH Sanok 4-2 in the final . It was the first national title for the Oberschlesier . In the same year, the team achieved their best placement in the Ekstraliga with second place in the main round, but then lost the play-off final after three wins and four defeats against the new champions KS Cracovia , who had only finished fourth in the main round. After these successes, Kosowski moved to HK Arlan Kökschetau in Kazakhstan in 2013 . After just eight games, however, he left the Kazakhs again and joined the Cardiff Devils from the Elite Ice Hockey League , the top British division, in January 2014 . In the summer of 2014 he moved to MsHK Žilina in the Slovak extra league . But he didn't last long there either, as he was drawn back to his home country Poland in December, where he was in the can for almost three years at GKS Tychy , with whom he was Polish champion in 2015 and cup winner in 2017 . In 2017 he moved to league rivals GKS Katowice .
