Vaclovas Šalkauskas

Vaclovas Šalkauskas (born November 19, 1965 in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian administrative lawyer and diplomat .

Life

After graduating from the Seventh Middle School in Alytus in 1983, he completed his law degree at Vilniaus universitetas in 2007 , studied electrical engineering at the Kauno technologijos universitetas faculty from 1983 to 1984, and at the VU commercial faculty from 1986 to 1991. Since 1991 he has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania . From 1993 to 1997 he was the first secretary of the embassy in Belarus , from 2001 to 2005 an advisor in Israel . He has been ambassador to Argentina since 2009 .
