Vacuum pump oil

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vacuum pump oils , often vacuum oils mentioned are lubricants for use in vacuum pumps . These are used for lubrication and sealing in vacuum pumps. Unlike lubricants in normal pumps, they have additional requirements. Low pressures increase the outgassing of volatile components from lubricants, which in turn contaminates the vacuum to be generated .
