Valdas Petrauskas
Valdas Petrauskas (born April 9, 1965 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian politician and surgeon.
Life
After graduating from high school, he completed his diploma studies at the Kauno medicinos institutas (KMI) from 1983 to 1989 and became a surgeon . From 1989 to 1991 he was a full professor at the 1st chair of KMI. From 1991 to 1992 he was an assistant at the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery of the Kauno medicinos akademija . From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .
From 1989 Valdas Petrauskas was a member and later deputy chairman of the council of the Lietuvos Demokrat partija .
