Valdemar Glückstadt

Valdemar Josef Glückstadt (born February 25, 1868 in Christiania ; † November 11, 1942 ) was a Danish merchant, landowner and royal Italian consul general .

He was the son of the banker Isak Glückstadt and his wife Juliette Sophie Raffel, and belonged to one of the most prominent Jewish business dynasties in Denmark. His father was also chairman of the Jewish community in Copenhagen. He was married to Julie Emilie Rée (1875–1952). His daughter Ella Glückstadt (* 1899) was married in 1920 to Erik (Gebhardt Oskar Frederik) Count Moltke von Nør († 1922) and in her second marriage to Consul General Thorleif Paus .
