Cromlech in Vale Maria do Meio

The Cromlech in Vale Maria do Meio is located northwest of Évora , north of the Autoestrada A6 about seven kilometers from the Portela de Mogos in Portugal . The stone circle , which is more damaged on the east side, has 21 preserved menhirs .

One of the stones shows an incision in the form of faint outlines of a face, a chain and possibly a vulva . Another has geometric incisions of bars, crescents, circles and squares.

Nearby are the Menhir of Almendres and the Menhir Pair of San Sebastião.
