Valentin Ladner (born April 14, 1990 ) is a Swiss floorball player . He spent a large part of his career with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich . He is currently playing at Limmattal floorball.
Career
Grasshopper Club Zurich
Ladner began his career at UHC Cosmic Zurich , which later became part of the Grasshopper Club Zurich. He went through all junior levels of the Grasshoppers and was used for the first time in a first-team game during the 2009-10 season. The rest of the season he played in the U21 team. In 2010/11 he was appointed to the first team by the head coach. In his first season he played 15 games and scored two goals. He was able to confirm his achievements in the following season and quickly developed into a regular on the defensive. In 2014 and 2016 he was in the cup final with the Grasshoppers, but could not win it. For this he won the Swiss championship title with GC in the 2015/16 season. In 2017 he also won the Swiss Cup against HC Rychenberg Winterthur .
On May 26, 2017, the association announced Ladner's resignation. Ladner played 200 games in the top division for de Grasshopper Club and scored 55 scorer points.
Floorball Limmattal
On June 6, 2017, the 1st league club Unihockey Limmattal announced the transfer of Ladners.
