Valentina Diouf (born January 10, 1993 in Milan ) is an Italian volleyball player .
Career
Diouf played from 2009 to 2011 for “Club Italia” and in the national junior team, with which she won the bronze medal at the U18 European Championship in 2009, was U19 European Champion in 2010 and U20 World Champion in 2011. The diagonal attacker has been playing in the Italian "Serie A1" since 2011. With Foppapedretti Bergamo she won the Italian Supercup in the first year. Since 2013 Diouf has also played in the Italian national team and won the gold medal at the Mediterranean Games. In 2014/15 she played for Yamamay Busto Arsizio and in 2015/16 for LJ Volley Modena . She then returned to Busto Arsizio, with whom she reached the final of the European CEV Cup in 2017 and was recognized as the most valuable player.
Personal
Diouf has a Senegalese father and an Italian mother.
