career

Club stations

Giacinti began her career at Club Atalanta, in whose first team she was used for the first time on January 30, 2010 in a point game against Tavagnacco. While she came to a total of 10 missions in her first half-season (second half of the 2009/10 season), in which she did not score a single goal, she already proved her scoring risk in the following two seasons and scored 15 (2010/11) and 19 goals respectively (2011/12). For the 2012/13 season she was poached by SSC Napoli , for which she scored 17 goals. She spent the next four seasons at the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Mozzanica , for which she scored a total of 86 goals. It was there that Giacinti experienced her most successful season to date, when she was the top scorer in the Italian Serie A for the first time in the 2015/16 season with a total of 32 goals (in 22 games) . A success that she was able to repeat in her next two stations (2017/18 for ACF Brescia and 2018/19 for AC Milan ) with 21 goals each. With Brescia, Giacinti also celebrated their only title win at club level so far, when the team won the Supercup on September 23, 2017 against the reigning champions and cup winners Fiorentina with a clear 4-1.

National team

Giacinti was first used for the Italian women's national soccer team in 2015 and was part of Italy's World Cup squad in 2019 , where she was used as a joker in all group C group matches .

In the round of 16 against China , Giacinti was not only allowed to play the full distance, but also scored the 1-0 lead in the 15th minute and was voted “Player of the Match” after the 2-0 win. Even in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands Giacinti was used over the full distance, but could not prevent the Italians' 2-0 defeat.
